Our Sun Trap Park

Which we personally run is set in the private gardens of the former Balkail estate mansion house.  Secluded and private, yet you are only 100 yds from the village of Glenluce and its facilities.  We have play facilities for children on the park or there is access to a large public park through a boundary gate.  A barbecue area has been provided, along with picnic seats, where families can get together for an outdoor meal.  The Ladyburn runs along one boundary of the park and although we have not caught any large fish, children will enjoy the opportunity to try and catch the little ones.  The Glen walk on the opposite bank of the Burn can be accessed from the park, walking upstream to the waterfalls or down towards the River Luce, coming out at the local bowling club.  Awarded the Tourist Board maximum 5 Ticks, you will find that the park is kept in first class order, so that you can enjoy your holiday in pleasant surroundings
